In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering essential road infrastructure improvements on various minor works projects.
Operate a variety of heavy plant machinery—such as backhoes, excavators, loaders, bobcats, mixers, stabilisers, and rollers—while performing both routine and complex manual tasks.
Play a key role in maintaining safety standards, conducting equipment checks, identifying environmental hazards, and contributing to high-quality project outcomes.
Drive operational excellence and workplace safety in a dynamic construction environment, helping deliver a critical project on time while developing skills across multiple plant types.
Note: 2 fixed term full-time roles available (up to 30 June 2026) based at Narrandera.
You may be required to work outside normal hours and may travel throughout the region or work at locations away from home.

About you
We're seeking safety-focused plant operators who are team players with experience in civil construction and in safe and efficient operations of plant such as backhoes, loaders, bobcats, mixers, stabilisers, and rollers.
You'll be confident and highly capable operating major plant and have proven experience rectifying simple hazards without direction and reporting them accordingly.
You must hold the following qualifications:
Current Construction Industry White Card
Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence
Traffic control certification is desirable but not an essential requirement for this position
