We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our Group Life and Retirement business unit at TAL. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining our Risk Management Framework and providing expert advice to stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of timely risk management and compliance analysis and advice to stakeholders to enable the business to operate within the organization's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
- Support and advise the business to identify, classify, measure, and monitor their risks and compliance requirements and issues.
- Assist stakeholders in identifying potential risks and compliance issues associated with their day-to-day business goals, including incident and breach reporting.
- Work with stakeholders to analyze and quantify the impact of items requiring remediation while operating within TAL's Risk and Compliance guidelines.
- Coordinate the formulation of remediation strategies and implementation plans for key corrective actions and preventative controls.
- Support the Risk & Compliance Senior Manager in providing key reporting requirements and insights on operational risk matters.
- Build strong relationships with the Risk Office and other Line 1 Risk teams.
- Assist the Risk & Compliance Senior Manager in contributing to the technical development of the team by coaching and mentoring.
- Assist in managing risk processes such as risk in change, business continuity, user access reviews, data risk management, LICOP, AML compliance plans, fraud risk assessment/controls, RAS metric completion, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in managing new and existing incidents via regular monitoring and conducting incident discussions with relevant stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience working within life insurance/financial services
- Experience in a relevant Risk Management and/or Compliance environment or similar
- Experience performing control assurance and managing incidents end to end
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory bodies and legal compliance requirements of the Life Insurance & Superannuation industries
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
