Job Title:

Hiring an HR Staff Liaison Officer to Support Employees and Management

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support to employees and management on human resources matters.

This includes providing information on company policies, procedures and benefits, as well as being a problem-solver and sponsor of innovative and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure optimal workforce engagement, experience and culture.
  • Supporting leaders to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Driving program delivery and leveraging stakeholder relationships for success.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of contemporary workforce and talent management principles and practices.
  • Being autonomous and making sound decisions.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organisational Design or similar.
  • Knowledge of and skill in HR/IR practice in a highly dispersed, unionised workforce.
  • Well-developed collaborative leadership skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive program delivery and leverage stakeholder relationships for success.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary workforce and talent management principles and practices.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to innovate and improve processes.
  • Autonomous work style and sound decision-making.
