About the Role

As a part-time Myotherapist, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to enhance mobility and movement, promoting independence and wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with clients, tailoring your approach to address a wide range of physical conditions and improve quality of life. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessing symptoms and medical history, making diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans
* Manipulating muscles and soft tissue to alleviate pain and discomfort
* Educating and training clients on therapy techniques and self-care strategies
* Providing goal-setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening, and improving posture
* Referring clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment as needed
* Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans
* Documenting and reporting on client progress
