About the Role

As a part-time Myotherapist at Lifecare, you will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients, enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your clients' quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis, and developing care plans for individuals

• Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue

• Educating and training clients on all aspects of therapy

• Providing clients with goal-setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening, and improving posture

• Referring clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required

• Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored

• Documenting and reporting on clients' condition and progress
