About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our national Dam Engineering team as a senior expert at the Principal or Technical Director level. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical and strategic leadership to drive innovation and excellence in dam engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design, safety reviews, and remediation for high-profile dam projects;
  • Drive innovative solutions to enhance site management and environmental protection;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes;
  • Conduct inspections, investigations, and condition assessments of existing dams to ensure safety and compliance;
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to support their professional development and growth;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or PhD in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering;
  • Extensive experience in dam engineering, including client-facing roles;
  • Expertise in preparing design reports, technical specifications, and drawings;
  • Knowledge of guidance and standards published by ANCOLD or similar international bodies;
  • Excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders;
