Senior Dairy Cattle Stockperson Role

This role is for an experienced and skilled individual to manage and coordinate all aspects of milk production, including management and coordination of milking shed routines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dairy cattle management, with experience in reproductive programs, controlled breeding experiments, and pasture and crop management.

We are seeking someone who can plan and manage pastures and crops for livestock production, develop livestock feeding plans, and supervise animal health programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all aspects of milk production
  • Coordinate and implement reproductive programs
  • Assist in controlled breeding experiments
  • Implement calving procedures

  • Supervise animal health programs
  • Implement quality assurance procedures
  • Maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • AQF Certificate III in Agriculture / Dairy Production (or higher equivalent)
  • Three (3) years of recent and relevant work experience
