Chief Investment Compliance Officer

This is a key role within our organization, focusing on the governance of investments. Based in Melbourne or Sydney, this hybrid position will require at least three days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and provide accurate compliance reporting for investment products.
- Regularly review adherence to procedures and control checks.
- Lead the quarterly third-party fund manager Due Diligence questionnaire process.
- Assist with incident investigation and resolution.
- Support regulatory filings and OTC derivatives reporting.
- Oversee shareholder reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Elevate exceptions to senior stakeholders.
- At least 3 years of experience in investment compliance from a fund or investment management background.
- Strong understanding of investment processes and drivers behind market movements.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Tertiary qualification and/or industry-specific certification.
- Experience with a professional services firm preferred but not mandatory.
