We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator at our residential aged care facility on the Central Coast.

This is a full-time permanent role, supporting the delivery of purposeful life programs to our residents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting resident assessments and maintaining associated records.
  • Designing and delivering individualised leisure and lifestyle programs that cater to clients' social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, physical, and cognitive needs.
  • Assisting residents to maintain independence, friendships, and community participation through planned group and individual activities.
  • Monitoring and evaluating programs to ensure they meet residents' needs, suggesting improvements as necessary.
  • Coordinating outing/bus trip programs and completing related documentation.
  • Actively seeking feedback from residents to guide quality improvement.
  • Supporting the Leisure Department to meet accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality engagement and purposeful living programs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle qualifications (or working towards this).
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care that makes a difference in our residents' lives.
  • Eagerness to grow and develop your senior care career.
  • Relevant experience in senior care (desired).
  • Excellent customer service and resident relation skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills, with a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
