About the Position:
We are seeking a Risk and Compliance Specialist to support our operations in Australia.
The role will contribute to delivering a robust and efficient platform to drive business growth and enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement proactive risk management and compliance strategies in Australia.
- Lead and manage a small team, guiding them in their workflow and key activities.
- Manage team workflows and key risk and compliance initiatives.
- Respond to queries from our practice in relation to corporate and risk and compliance matters.
- Oversee compliance management for licensed or registrable activities.
- Ensure updates to relevant corporate risk policies and guidance for our Australian practice.
- Stay up-to-date with new legislative and regulatory developments.
- Communicate, report, and present on risk and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve urgent or sensitive risk and compliance issues.

Experience and Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in risk and compliance in a broad professional services environment.
- A degree in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Business, or risk and compliance certifications.
- Knowledge and awareness of relevant laws and regulations.
