Your Role as a Finance Business Analyst

You will be responsible for ensuring daily and monthly tasks are completed according to our Accounting and Reporting Manual. Your role plays a key supporting part in providing timely financial information to stakeholders.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Process finance transactions with various financiers, updating any changes as required, and handle urgent funding requests
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts as necessary and prepare month-end reconciliation reports
  • Analyse discrepancies between our systems and financier systems, including arrears investigations
  • Liaise with internal parties and financier contacts to resolve errors, review processes, and suggest improvements
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Conduct various analyses and ad-hoc reporting as requested

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Advanced Excel skills, combined with experience working with spreadsheets and providing analysis on trends and movements
  • A strong analytical mindset and desire for continuous process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency
  • The ability to work with multiple systems
  • Proven customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong technical/numerical skills and knowledge, being thorough and accurate in your work
