Senior Health Economist Opportunity

Our organisation is seeking a Senior Health Economist to lead the design, execution, and communication of economic evaluations that inform policy, access, and investment decisions.

About the Role
  • This role involves developing and adapting cost-effectiveness analyses (e.g. cost-utility analyses, Markov models, partitioned survival, decision trees) and leading development of economic evaluations for submissions to regulatory agencies.
  • You will apply economic methods to broader frameworks such as social return on investment (SROI) and impact assessment.
  • The successful candidate will communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through reports and presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a health economist with:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in health economics, economics, public health, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in health economics and outcomes research, consulting, academia, pharmaceutical/medtech industry, or similar.
  • Strong technical expertise in economic modelling using Excel, TreeAge, R, or similar platforms.
  • Practical experience preparing submissions for regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and teams.
