Job Title: Global Economic Strategist

We are seeking an experienced and intellectually curious professional to join our International and FX Research team as a Director-level Geo Economic Analyst.

This high-impact role is at the intersection of global economics, geopolitics, and financial markets—where your insights will help guide strategic decisions across the bank.

You will deliver forward-looking analysis and thought leadership to senior stakeholders, including the executive team, risk, strategy, and client-facing units.

Your work will influence how the bank navigates global uncertainty and opportunity.

  • Monitor and interpret macroeconomic and geopolitical developments across key markets.
  • Develop scenario-based forecasts and risk assessments on trade, capital flows, sanctions, supply chains, and strategic industries.
  • Advise senior leadership on geo-economic risks and opportunities impacting the bank and its clients.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and country risk frameworks.
  • Present insights to internal and external stakeholders, including institutional clients and media.
  • Collaborate with economists and strategists across Global Economic & Markets Research.
  • Produce high-quality publications, briefings, and presentations on geo-economic themes.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in geo-economic analysis, macroeconomics, or strategic planning.
  • Deep understanding of global economic systems and geopolitical dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior decision-makers and contribute to strategic outcomes.
