Senior Tailings Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tailings Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing challenging projects including tailings storage facilities and water dams.
Geotechnical expertise is essential, with experience in software packages and understanding of tailing deposition modeling. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analysis of tailings dams and storage facilities;
- Geotechnical analyses using various software packages;
- Understanding of tailing deposition modeling;
- Site characterisation and instrumentation monitoring systems;
- Project/task management and proposal preparation support;
- Engineering reports and design calculations.

Requirements- Relevant degree in civil engineering or a related field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering;
- Proficiency in software packages such as Geosoft and Geochemist's Workbench;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
