The Role

We are seeking applications from intermediate to senior level Tailings Engineers to join our Melbourne team.

This role offers the opportunity to grow your career with a strong technical team around you offering support and mentoring.

Main Responsibilities
  • Interpreting results from laboratory testing and preparing summary reports.
  • Developing defensible soil strength parameters using laboratory and field results.
  • Undertaking design analyses for tailings storage facilities and earth structures.
  • Responsible for project planning, technical deliverables, and client-contractor requests.
  • Design assessments, including tailings beach modelling and stability and seepage analyses.
  • Mentoring junior staff and working with other professionals in project teams.
  • Effective communication between clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Field and office assignments under supervision.
  • Site inspections, geotechnical investigations, QA/QC activities, and construction oversight.
  • Safety hazard identification and reporting OH&S and environmental incidents.
  • Delivering technical reports on time.
