As a Senior & Principal Tailings Engineer, you will lead a multidisciplinary team on diverse projects, delivering best practice consulting services to clients across Australia and internationally.

The role enhances your capabilities and reputation within our Mine Advisory team. Collaborate with talented professionals on iconic projects to drive innovative solutions that balance quality, innovation, and technical excellence.

Our engineers work on large-scale, world-class projects using cutting-edge technology and methodologies. We're a go-to consultant for several global mining companies, working across the full lifecycle of tailings projects from feasibility to design, construction, operations, maintenance, and closure.

With over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals, we support the green transition by working collaboratively across borders and disciplines on complex projects.

This is an opportunity to develop your expertise and mentor junior engineers within the team. You'll be responsible for providing technical direction for tailings design studies, reviewing work and technical deliverables, and interfacing with client leads and subject matter experts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering qualifications in Civil or Mining Engineering.
  • Proven experience on tailings/mine waste projects locally or internationally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in teams efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Drive to balance innovation, quality, and technical excellence.
