Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our CO+I team, you'll play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position that requires a deep understanding of data center operations, including maintenance, repairs, and emergency response. You'll work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers, responding to incidents, performing troubleshooting, and implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain critical environment-related facility equipment, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize internal computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track equipment assets and complete work orders.
- Respond to and lead onsite incident response teams for abnormal conditions, coordinating with other critical facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs.
- Develop and enhance emergency operating procedures, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures in relation to CE operations and incidents.
- Perform various types of maintenance and repairs following established procedures, troubleshoot equipment, and provide consultation to lower-level colleagues.
- Ensure safety and security requirements are met, including job hazard assessments, environmental health and safety protocols, and business processes.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and access to cutting-edge technology and resources.
