Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to take ownership of the Treasury accounting processes, including the group's overseas operations. This role will involve building strong relationships with finance and business stakeholders, developing an in-depth understanding of financial accounting processes, and identifying and resolving complex financial issues.


About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of autonomy and accountability. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Ownership of treasury accounting for the Boral Group, including determination and processing of month-end journals, reconciling accounts, analysis of month-end treasury results and balances
  • Accounting for the group's overseas operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Preparation of Hyperion back schedules and workings assigned, along with clearing monthly Hyperion validations
  • Ensuring all Accounting processes comply with Boral Accounting Policies and Accounting standards

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • CA or CPA qualification (preferred) or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years accounting experience
  • In-depth experience in Oracle/SAP Financial Modules and/or equivalent systems
  • Experience in applying accounting principles and Australian Accounting Standards
  • Commercial exposure, preferably in a large-scale environment
  • Proven ability to manage own performance, including skills in time management and managing workload priorities
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and process management skills

Salary Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, plus benefits such as novated car lease scheme and free onsite parking.
