The Opportunity:

We are expanding our Sydney headquarters team to oversee the financial accounting requirements of our global entities in the LATAM region. As a key member of the Group Accounting Manager's team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of direct reports and driving transformation through the centralisation and standardisation of our accounting practices.

You will be the primary point of contact within the Finance Team for all entities, collaborating closely with business leaders, auditors, and local advisors. Your expertise will play a crucial role in understanding and explaining significant drivers of business performance, assisting with budgeting and re-forecasting processes, and contributing to the management of Group level tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial information for the region, ensuring a deep understanding of the businesses' financial performance.
  • Drive project management initiatives, executing transformation projects while managing day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Develop and implement coaching and team management strategies, taking significant responsibility for the career development of junior team members.
  • Foster strong interpersonal skills, serving as the main point of contact for regional queries from other areas of the Finance Team, key management personnel, and internal/external finance resources.
  • Possess strong technical accounting skills, holding an appropriate accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant, CPA, or similar) and 5+ years of post-qualification experience.

What We Offer

As a Financial Transformation Lead - LATAM, you can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
