**Apartment Motel Operations Manager Role** We are seeking a highly skilled Accommodation Operator to oversee the day-to-day operations of an established apartment motel in Surfers Paradise, Queensland. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all daily property operations including reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and customer service.
  • Oversee check-in/outs, guest relations, inquiries, and resolve issues independently with a proactive, guest-first attitude.
  • Ensure rooms and public areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a small team across all departments.
  • Maintain a professional, respectful team environment and lead by example.
  • Monitor operating expenses and report regularly to off-site owners.
  • Adjust room rates based on dynamic pricing, occupancy, and market conditions.
 Requirements:
  • A minimum 3-5 years experience in hospitality or accommodation management.
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and guest-first attitude.
  • Excellent administrative, financial, and systems proficiency (PMS, OTA platforms, CMMS).
  • A calm and practical approach to maintenance, compliance, and on-call needs.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Australian work rights and a valid driver's license.
