Seeking a Results-Driven Accommodation Manager

We are looking for an experienced accommodation professional to oversee daily operations and drive strategic growth.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned hospitality manager to lead our team and create exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of accommodation operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Supervise front desk operations, reservation systems, forecasting, yield management, and third-party relationships.
  • Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance satisfaction levels.
  • Lead and train operational staff, including front desk, maintenance, and quality control teams.
  • Create and manage rosters, monitor attendance, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of service excellence.
  • Liaise with third-party housekeeping providers to ensure hygiene standards, property readiness, and amenity compliance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of apartments and oversee preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Develop departmental budgets and authorise expenditure.
  • Uphold compliance obligations, including employment laws, OH&S, fire safety, environmental sustainability, and consumer protection standards.
  • Implement and deliver mandatory OH&S and emergency procedure training.
  • Identify upselling opportunities, cross-promotional campaigns, and support ongoing marketing initiatives.
  • Keep accurate records and represent at relevant events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the accommodation or hospitality sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in reservations, guest services, housekeeping management, and maintenance coordination.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting and basic accounting procedures.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage staff compliance, performance, and training.
  • Familiarity with workplace relations, OH&S standards, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience using PMS software (preferred).
