Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Instrumentation Specialist, you will be responsible for measuring and diagnosing electrical instrumentation and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and assembling electronic devices based on reading schematics
  • Inspecting for problems and estimating material and costs to replace old equipment
  • Creatingschematics, testing and troubleshooting electrical installations and circuitry and cabling systems
  • Evaluating electrical grids for any problems to ensure they are installed correctly
  • Working with wires, using hand tools and handling small components requires manual dexterity

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and high level of competence in all aspects of industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation
  • Technical qualification with 3 years field experience
  • A good understanding of industrial plant, electronic equipment and machinery
  • Highly skilled practical hands-on ability is essential as Australia-wide site service and workshop repair work is often required
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Good supervisory skills
  • Technical qualification in electrical engineering or instrumentation disciplines
