Your Role As an Electrical & Instrument Engineer, you will: Design and specify instruments for pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurement, including datasheets and loop diagrams.
Specify and design on/off and control valves, including valve sizing and actuator selection.
Select control system hardware, design system architecture, and develop functional specifications.
Design fire and gas detection systems and contribute to LOPA, HAZOP, and CHAZOP assessments.
Perform hazardous area classification and relevant calculations (Ex 'i', 'e').
Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
What we're looking for Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (or substantial progress towards obtaining it).
Strong technical expertise in Instrument & Control Engineering principles and practices.
Proficiency in industry-standard software for detailed design tasks.
Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to Instrument & Control Engineering.
