Job Title: Director, Communications and Corporate Affairs

Vic Grid is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Communications and Corporate Affairs to lead our communications and corporate affairs strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies to advance Vic Grid's profile and reputation as a leading energy company.
  • Lead policy and project communications teams to proactively identify and respond to media and public affairs issues.
  • Provide guidance and quality control to the team in the preparation of speeches, social media content, fact sheets, and other communications materials.
  • Provide expert advice on communications, media, and other matters to the Executive Director, Communications and Engagement and the broader Vic Grid leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in developing and delivering communications and corporate affairs strategies and materials.
  • Superior people and issues management skills, with experience in complex and high-pressured environments.
  • Demonstrated specialist skills to enhance Vic Grid's reputation and manage reputational risk.
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications or a related discipline.
