Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with an interest in developing, implementing, coordinating and maintaining safe work procedures, processes and training.

We are looking for someone who can develop, implement and maintain safe work instruction procedures for all equipment maintenance and promote high safety awareness.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, coordinating and monitoring procedural systems, processes and training, as well as ensuring that all apprentices are being provided the required experience that is in parallel with their training plan.

They will also be responsible for developing and implementing a training plan for all new employees joining the business that is aligned with our training matrix.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Trade Qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field with Diesel Engine Systems experience.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (highly desirable).
  • Sound understanding of interpreting schematics (desirable).
  • Detailed working knowledge and understanding of current specifications and attributes of Underground Mining Equipment (preferred).
