Job Summary:

The ideal candidate for this role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the environmental sustainability of New Energy projects nationally.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans, procedures, and tools aligned with industry standards
  • Oversee daily environmental tasks based on project risk levels to ensure seamless operations and compliance
  • Provide technical advice and assist with securing environmental approvals during bids and project phases
  • Promote environmental awareness and build capability across project teams through guidance and collaboration
  • Coordinate monitoring and reporting, including sustainability metrics, site inspections, and incident investigations
  • Engage with stakeholders such as project teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain high environmental standards

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction or renewable energy sectors
  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation and approval processes
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Proactively look to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies
