Job Title: Clinical Neuropsychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at Alfred Health. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical neuropsychology services and positive behaviour support to the Neurology Department, particularly The Stroke Unit.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working in an interdisciplinary approach to treatment and care planning, contributing to quality improvement processes and educational programs within the Neurosciences Department, and participating in research projects. You will be supervised by one of our senior clinical neuropsychologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical neuropsychology services and positive behaviour support to the Neurology Department, particularly The Stroke Unit
  • Participating in an interdisciplinary approach to treatment and care planning
  • Contributing to quality improvement processes and educational programs within the Neurosciences Department
  • Participating in research projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Sound knowledge of neuropsychological syndromes and neuropsychological assessment techniques for patients with strokeDemonstrated clinical competence and experience in the application of neuropsychology in an acute health settingRegistration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009Master or doctoral degree in NeuropsychologyGrade - five years work experience as a Neuropsychologist, Endorsement in Neuropsychology and Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of AustraliaGrade - endorsement in Neuropsychology or enrolled in a registrar programWhat We Offer
