Business Development Manager Job Description

The opportunity exists for a commercially driven and experienced Business Development Manager to lead the major accounts in this exciting phase of growth.

You will have complete ownership of these accounts, working across our Iconic and Global market-leading brands.

  • You will be the point of contact for all interactions and communication between stakeholders.
  • Lead all Range Review processes by collaborating with the Business Manager, Customer and Commercial Marketing, Category and Finance teams.
  • Delivery of KPI's, including market share, category, and sales performance measures, and Customer Business Plan metrics.
  • Develop and manage sales strategy, promotional planning, and trade spend.
  • Partner with Category to understand account and customer data, to create insights and form recommendations to implement.
  • Collaborate with shopper activation on plans and strategy, build, and execution.

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in marketing, business, or equally relevant field.
  • 3-5 years as Business Development Manager within FMCG/Grocery, preferably with major retailers.
  • Must have experience working with customer portals.
  • Customer-facing, account ownership experience is essential.
  • High level of financial understanding and experience managing an account P&L, including Trade Spend.
