We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Worker to provide high-quality care to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering personalized support and promoting independence in daily activities.

About the Role
  • Provide personal care and support daily activities as per the client's care plan.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver tailored care, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition support.
  • Identify and address care needs in partnership with the care team.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to promote independence.
  • Maintain accurate records and report concerns promptly.
  • Support mobility and wound care under RN supervision.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certifications (with at least 3 months' validity).
  • Reliable vehicle, insured, with a driver's license.
  • Recent Federal Police Clearance.
  • Willingness to travel and flexible shifts.
  • Empathy, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safety protocols.
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Understanding of person-centered care approach.
  • Multilingual abilities are an asset.
