John Holland is involved in the delivery of a key section of Inland Rail in NSW, and we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals to join this team.

About Inland Rail

Inland Rail is transforming freight transportation in Australia by connecting Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. This fast freight backbone will complete our national freight network – better connecting producers to markets and creating new opportunities for regional businesses, industries, and communities.

The Illabo to Stockinbingal section involves 39km of new rail corridor within Junee and Cootamundra-Gundagai local government areas. It provides a direct route from east of Illabo, tracking north to Stockinbingal, and connects into the existing Forbes rail line.

What We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals with expertise in various disciplines willing to explore new opportunities in regional NSW:

  • Project Management and Supervision
  • Engineering and Design
  • Planning, Project Controls, and Cost Planning
  • Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance
  • Commercial, Finance, and Procurement
  • Environment/Approvals and Sustainability
  • Quality and Completions
  • Health and Safety
  • Community and Stakeholder Relations
  • Survey

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Will require willingness to work FIFO/DIDO to remote locations in NSW
  • Be open to working a 2:1 roster (2 weeks on / 1 week off)
  • Or, willing to relocate
  • Experience on complex rail/infrastructure projects

Compensation Package

This opportunity offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
