Job Title: Data Centre Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and highly skilled security officer to join our team in a data centre environment. As a data centre security officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of clients' data at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a baseline/nv1 clearance, current NSW security license, first aid and cpr certificate, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security screening of personnel entering and exiting restricted areas
  • Ensure compliance with security procedures and policies
  • Identify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from restricted areas
  • Issue and audit security visitor and contractor badges
  • Raise and modify access requests using client software programs
  • Escalate and report incidents and provide daily activity reports
  • Patrol assigned areas and report issues to the regional control room
