Job Title: Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in overseeing compliance with regulatory obligations and privacy policies.

About the Role
  • Analyze data protection risks and controls across financial products
  • Support stakeholders in Data Protection Impact Assessments
  • Act as an escalation point for data protection incidents and manage incident processes
  • Oversee regulatory changes impacting data protection and prepare reports

You will work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product, and Operations teams to effectively manage data protection risks.

Your Skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Finance, Commerce, or similar disciplines
  • Experience in Risk, Compliance, or Regulatory roles with a solid understanding of Australian data protection regulations
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills with ability to identify key drivers and solutions
