Senior Human Resources and Payroll Officer Role

The Senior Human Resources (HR) and Payroll Officer is a critical position within our Administration Team. Providing leadership of effective and efficient payroll processes, along with HR administration, you will work within a dedicated, collaborative and supportive team.

About the Role
  • This role involves providing supervision of relevant human resources and payroll functions.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • • Developing and implementing HR and payroll strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • • Managing payroll processing, including accurate and timely payment of employees.
  • • Maintaining employee records and files in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • • Providing guidance and support to staff on HR and payroll matters.
  • • Collaborating with other teams to achieve business outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in human resources and payroll processing.
  • Strong customer service skills, detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Commitment to Christian education and a determination to serve God in a Christian school environment.
  • Ability to obtain a current Working with Children Check and mandatory child safe training certification.
  • Residency and entitlements to work in South Australia.
