Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Payroll and HR professional to join our team on a part-time basis, working 24 hours per week. This key role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including leave accruals, overtime, superannuation, payroll tax and STP reporting.

About the Role
  • Manage all aspects of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate new hire processes, terminations, contracts, and employee records, maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Provide HR guidance and support, ensuring adherence to Fair Work and relevant awards.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction programs, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate HR metrics, reports, and documentation, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes, prioritizing employee wellbeing.
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and HR administration, with a strong understanding of employment law and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
