Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Manager to fill a 12-month Maternity Leave Cover position within the Brand Communications Chapter. This role will focus on the Everyday More Choice Squad, particularly in Everyday Mobile. While experience in the Mobile sector is preferred, it is not a prerequisite.

Operating within an agile framework, this position will be integrated into the Brand Communications Chapter and assigned to the Everyday Tribe. The primary responsibilities include developing and executing marketing strategies, communication plans, and customer experience initiatives that align with specific objectives for the Everyday More Choice Squad, with a particular emphasis on Everyday Mobile. Additional tasks outside the dedicated Squad may also be included in accordance with our Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing or marketing communications, either client-side or agency-side.
  • Proven track record in crafting, leading, and implementing Brand/Marketing positioning and communication strategies, particularly for corporate community and sustainability initiatives (preferably in retail).
  • Extensive technical expertise in Marketing Communications, encompassing strategy, positioning, creative development, production, and performance measurement.
  • Solid experience managing the entire marketing funnel with a focus on customer acquisition through performance media.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns for sustainable growth.
  • Results-oriented and pragmatic, with a strong ability to prioritize and manage a complex workload.
  • Capability to establish a vision and guide a team through potentially conflicting priorities to achieve that vision.
  • Robust cross-functional stakeholder management experience across various organizational levels, fostering strong partnerships with internal and external collaborators.
  • Expertise in leveraging customer and category insights to drive successful campaigns.
  • Demonstrated understanding of agency best practices, including effective briefing, creative evaluation, and partnership optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of channel roles and best practices across various platforms (digital, OOH, screens, PR, social media, in-store).
  • Proven experience in delivering innovative solutions and adhering to industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with legal compliance and risk management protocols.

What You Bring:

  • At least 10 years of marketing or marketing communications experience, either client-side or agency-side.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing Brand/Marketing positioning and communication strategies for corporate community and sustainability initiatives (ideally in retail).
  • High level of technical proficiency in Marketing Communications, including strategy, positioning, creative development, production, and measurement.
  • Experience in the Mobile industry is highly valued but not mandatory.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the marketing funnel with a focus on customer acquisition through performance media.
  • Strong commercial insight with the ability to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns for sustainable growth.
  • Achievement-oriented with a strong capacity for prioritization and managing a complex workload.
