About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Referral Engagement Officer to join our team at Ramsay Health Care. As a Referral Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving referral growth by engaging with healthcare professionals, promoting hospital services, and enhancing community awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to develop and execute growth strategies.
  • Promote specialists, psychologists, and programs through practice visits and other initiatives to increase referrals.
  • Target non-admitting psychiatrists to promote Ramsay's mental health outreach and day programs.
  • Deliver targeted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs for specialists, registrars, GPs, and other health professionals.
  • Develop communications to showcase new and existing specialists and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing practices.
  • Engage in community outreach to boost Ramsay Mental Health's profile.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Identify and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Manage and grow the referral network database, ensuring detailed records.
  • Provide monthly reports to assess the effectiveness of activities and demonstrate ROI through increased referrals.

Your Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or a similar role in healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of medical specialists and referral dynamics with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to effectively engage key healthcare stakeholders.
  • Experience in using data to monitor markets, build opportunity pipelines, and develop growth strategies.
  • Proficiency in cold calling and influencing referrer groups.
