About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Nursing at RMIT University's School of Health and Biomedical Sciences. This is a full-time, ongoing appointment based at our Bundoora Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the teaching and research growth within the Nursing Discipline
  • Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and program materials
  • Coordinate large courses and prepare and deliver courses at undergraduate and post-graduate levels
  • Support student issues related to effective learning and liaise with clinical agencies to support student learning and problem solve
  • Make significant contributions to the planning and strategic direction of the School, taking on academic leadership roles involving participation in various committees

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia as a Registered Nurse
  • PhD in a related field or approved AQF equivalency with relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead scholarly development and manage and supervise academic teams and members
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills

Salary: Remuneration at Academic Level C ($135,814 - $156,608) or D ($163,538 - $180,166) + 17% Super
