About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor. This pivotal role will involve teaching, research, and industry engagement, with opportunities to contribute to academic leadership duties within the Nursing Discipline.

Salary: The successful candidate can expect a remuneration package at Academic Level C ($135,814 - $156,608) or D ($163,538 - $180,166), plus 17% Superannuation, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Research: Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and program materials for undergraduate nursing programs, including coordination of large courses and preparation of resources for student-centred learning.
  • Research Leadership: Contribute to the School's research growth by developing collaborative research teams, mentoring academic staff, and attracting external research funding to sustain research efforts.
  • Industry Engagement: Establish and maintain partnerships with academic and professional communities to promote the nursing program, secure clinical placements, and foster collaboration between researchers and practitioners.

Requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • PhD in a related field or approved AQF equivalency with relevant industry experience (a minimum of seven years of full-time practice or equivalent for appointment at level B).
  • Proven ability to lead scholarly development, manage and supervise academic teams, and demonstrate high-level interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills.
