About the Job:

APM Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia is seeking an Employment Consultant to support participants (job seekers) in transforming their lives.

The successful candidate will work at the Alice Springs site, collaborating with employers and participants to deliver tailored employment solutions in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers.
  • Support participants to identify skills and become job ready.
  • Deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements.
  • Enhance participants' employability through training and referrals to support services.
  • Develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.

About You/What You Bring:

The ideal candidate is driven, solution-focused, and has a can-do attitude. They should be motivated to go above and beyond for participants, with excellent communication skills and the ability to stay composed and adaptable in day-to-day challenges.

Backgrounds in sales, retail, call centre, hospitality, consulting, business development, and administration are well-suited. APM provides full training and helps translate transferable skills into a career in Employment Services.


To Be Considered:
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • A MyGovID (Standard level).
  • Willing to complete a National Police Check.
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
  • Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
