Senior Accountant Role for a Thriving Accounting Firm

We are a modern and fast-growing firm located in the Sydney CBD, offering accounting, taxation, and advisory services with an exceptionally high level of customer service to our diverse client base.
Job Description:
This is a full-time senior role arising from growth within our firm. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from our partner and interact directly with clients. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including preparing income tax returns, financial statements, and business activity statements. You will also be expected to research and consult on various tax issues, mentor junior accountants, and provide assistance to managers and partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Australian Public Practice experience
- Technically competent with proficiency in Excel, MYOB, and Xero
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
- Proficient English oral and written communication skills; Chinese speaking preferred but not essential
