About Perigon Group

We are a large, established Australian group with exciting opportunities for ambitious, technically competent accounting professionals. As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will play a key role in our Group Finance function.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Group-level monthly management reporting
  • Financial statements and board reporting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Trial balance analysis and commentaries
  • Indirect taxes (payroll tax, GST) and treasury accounting
  • Complex bank reconciliations and fixed assets management
  • Inter-company accounting and half-year end audit process participation

You will also be involved in internal business improvement projects, systems projects, and other ad-hoc tasks. Providing technical accounting advice to divisional stakeholders is an essential part of this role.

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • 0-3 years' post-qualified experience as a CA, preferably from Big 4 or mid-tier audit firms or large corporate environments
  • Solid knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
