Key Account Manager Role

The role of Key Account Manager involves managing a portfolio of valued accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, uncovering growth opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions.

  • Nurturing Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Innovating Solutions: Identify customer pain points, propose creative solutions, and recommend new ideas to enhance efficiency and value.
  • Driving Growth: Discover new business opportunities within your portfolio and collaborate with customers to expand partnerships and revenue streams.
  • Strategic Planning: Schedule and attend meetings with key stakeholders, document action items, and ensure follow-ups to drive impactful outcomes.
  • Coordinating Success: Work seamlessly with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends and proactively propose strategic improvements to keep our offerings ahead of the curve.
  • Organized Administration: Maintain and manage customer databases, ensure data integrity, and document key interactions, including meeting notes and SOPs.
Essential Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills, building trust, and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Problem-solving abilities, delivering innovative ideas that meet customer needs.
  • Results-driven individual, identifying opportunities, expanding business, and delivering measurable results.
  • Collaborative mindset, working with internal teams, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring seamless communication.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in international freight forwarding & Account Management/Customer Care.
  • Proven track record in managing and developing key accounts. The incumbent must possess at least two years of inside or outside customer care experience.
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends and applying strategic insights to add value for customers.
