
Sales Relationship Builder

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key residential customer accounts across the metro region, with some regional activity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial focus and excellent negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with builders, resellers, and key decision-makers.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of residential builder and reseller accounts
- Develop account plans to increase market share and improve customer experience
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
- Negotiate commercial outcomes that protect our interests while delivering customer value
- Effectively use CRM tools and sales reporting to track pipeline, performance, and forecasting
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Promote safe work practices, including driving and site engagement
About You
We are looking for a commercially sharp and customer-driven individual who can build trusted relationships and deliver results in a technical sales environment.
- Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in account management, business development, or commercial sales
- Experience in the building, construction, or manufacturing materials sector (highly regarded)
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage revenue budgets and deliver against growth targets
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong planning, time management, and reporting discipline
