Cater Care is a leading catering service provider known for our commitment to quality, innovation and exceptional service. We are currently seeking 3 Casual Food Preparation Specialists in Port Macquarie to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented and friendly team, offering a great work-life balance and opportunities for training to progress your career. As a Casual Food Preparation Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, customer service, restocking, dishwashing and cleaning of both kitchen & dining areas, maintaining food hygiene and safety practices, and providing fast and effective service throughout busy periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist with preparing fresh-made fruit salad, sandwiches, salads, and other menu items.
  • Customer Service: Serve meals and snacks to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, including dishwashing and restocking as required.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where you will be required to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. You will also have opportunities to work in a variety of settings, including aged care facilities and events.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including paid training and development opportunities, uniforms, and meal allowances.
