Role Overview
Tabcorp, Australia's leading gambling entertainment company, seeks a highly skilled IT Security Operations Expert to join our team. Our hybrid working model offers flexibility and work-life balance.
About the Role
We're looking for an expert who can provide in-depth analysis of security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities, leveraging technical information security expertise to inform incident response, detection, containment, and remediation efforts. You'll be responsible for monitoring and protecting critical infrastructure and production systems through our Security Operations Centre (SOC) monitoring operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality threat detection rules, queries, and alerts based on identified use cases, threat scenarios, and structured threat intelligence, including MITRE ATT&CK Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate potential security threats and risks to Tabcorp's production systems.
- Leverage Splunk technical infrastructure and experience to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance security operations efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve security operations capabilities and adapt to changing threat landscapes.
What We Offer
