We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Sydney. This role involves working on data warehouse development and advanced analytics initiatives, enabling data-driven decision-making within the organisation.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-quality data solutions on the Azure platform
  • Develop and maintain complex data models, ensuring data integrity and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and analytics

You will be responsible for shaping the data landscape, from data engineering and modelling to visualisation and governance. To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, modelling, management, and governance on Azure
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, ETL processes, and data modelling
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks
  • Proven experience in DevOps (CI/CD pipelines) and data ingestion from diverse sources
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
