The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Retail Assistant. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up and maintaining displays and ensuring the store is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card sales, and returns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and late trading hours.
  • Passion for the retail industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
