We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Altius Group. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Rehabilitation Plans: Create personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation, taking into account the individual's physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Complete a range of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments (ADLS), to identify the individual's strengths and limitations.
- Identify Return to Work Pathways: Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones, taking into account the individual's goals and aspirations.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors that may impact the individual's rehabilitation.
- Present Case Information and Recommendations: Present case information to various stakeholders and provide credible recommendations and solutions to drive the desired goal of successful rehabilitation and return to work.
- Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy: Hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with AHPRA.
- Current Driver's License and Car: Possess a current driver's license and have access to a car.
