Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer to join our team as a Transactional Services Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate advice to clients on the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property rights.
  • Advise on confidential information and draft confidentiality agreements, particularly as they relate to the protection of intellectual property rights.
  • Contribute to marketing and business development of the commercial function.
  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on various agreements related to the development and commercialisation of intellectual property, including but not limited to IP licences, assignments, manufacturing/distribution agreements, and sale/purchase of IP agreements.

As a Transactional Services Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of IP transactional services, including:

Commercial IP Transactions
  • Licences
  • Assignments
  • Manufacturing/distribution agreements
  • Sale/purchase of IP agreements

You will be working closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored advice to help them achieve their goals.

Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in intellectual property, technology, or general commercial contracts.
  • Exposure and knowledge of contract, commercial, and intellectual property law.
  • Experience in intellectual property transactions is desirable.
