Transaction Intellectual Property Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced intellectual property lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our commercial function, you will provide timely and accurate advice to clients in relation to the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property rights.
Your work will focus on advising on and drafting various types of agreements that deal with intellectual property rights, including trade marks, designs, patents, copyright, and plant breeders' rights. You will also be responsible for preparing documentation acceptable to IP Australia, as well as related IP work such as IP due diligence and some Australian Consumer Law advice.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in intellectual property, technology, or general commercial contracts. They will also have exposure and knowledge of contract, commercial, and intellectual property law.
Experience in intellectual property transactions is desirable, but not essential. What is important is a desire for challenging and interesting work, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with our IP litigators and the patent and trademarks attorneys.

Required Skills and Qualifications- A minimum of 3 years' experience in intellectual property, technology, or general commercial contracts.
- Exposure and knowledge of contract, commercial, and intellectual property law.
- Experience in intellectual property transactions is desirable.
